Natalie graduated from University of Victoria Law School in 2016 and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2017. Natalie's legal career commenced at a national law firm in downtown Vancouver. During her time there, she gained experience in several areas of law, including wills and estates, real estate, and corporate law.
Natalie has also worked for a local small business as in-house counsel providing legal expertise and ensuring legal compliance of the business. In addition to legal guidance, she is responsible for drafting and compliance with employment contracts, and creating service contracts to protect the interests of and mitigating risks to the business, ensuring that the relationships with clients are built on a strong legal foundation. She now focuses solely on estate planning , including wills and incapacity planning, and probate and estate administration.
Valorie received her law degree from the University of Victoria in 1989. She clerked with the Supreme Court of British Columbia and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1991. Valorie has practiced estates, trusts and wealth preservation since her call in 1991, including 10 years in a major Vancouver law firm.
Valorie is a mentor for Natalie Pawson Law, bringing over 30 years of experience to the practice.
